Terms of Service

Last updated: June 12, 2026

1. Who we are

seniorgrade is operated by Deimann Com GmbH, Randstraße 75, 22525 Hamburg, Germany (Amtsgericht Hamburg, HRB 164162) — see the imprint. These terms govern every purchase made on seniorgrade.io. The contract language is English.

2. What you're buying

A one-time production-readiness audit of one codebase for $49: a senior software engineer personally reads the security- and production-critical parts of your code and delivers a prioritized written report in plain English — critical risks first — typically within 48 hours of receiving read-only access, plus a 15-minute follow-up call.

The audit is a focused expert review, not a full penetration test, a formal certification, or an exhaustive line-by-line enterprise audit. It reflects the state of the code at the time of review. No review — human or automated — can guarantee that software is free of defects; we do not warrant that your app contains no issues beyond those reported. Implementing fixes remains your responsibility; optional fixes by us are quoted separately and form a separate agreement.

3. Your part

You confirm you're entitled to give us access to the code you submit, and you grant read-only access for the purpose of the review. We never request write access, never execute your code, never share it with third parties, and delete our access and local copies after the audit — see the privacy policy for details.

4. Price and payment

The price shown ($49 per codebase, one-time) is the final price; where VAT applies, it is included. Payment is processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card details. The audit starts after payment and access are in place.

5. Money-back guarantee

If you find the audit wasn't useful, tell us at [email protected] within 14 days of receiving your report and we refund the full price. This is a voluntary contractual guarantee on top of your statutory rights — it doesn't limit them.

6. Right of withdrawal (EU/EEA consumers)

If you order as a consumer in the EU/EEA, you have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal. By ordering, you request that we begin the service before the withdrawal period ends; you acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal once the service is fully performed (i.e. your report has been delivered). If you withdraw before delivery, we refund the full price; if work has begun, we may deduct a proportionate amount — in practice, our money-back guarantee (section 5) is broader than the statutory right anyway. To withdraw, an email to [email protected] is enough.

7. Liability

We are liable without limitation for intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body or health, and under mandatory law (e.g. product liability). For slight negligence we are liable only for the breach of essential contractual duties (duties whose fulfilment makes the proper execution of the contract possible at all), limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this kind of contract. Business decisions you take — including launching — remain yours; the report is an expert opinion, not a guarantee of outcome.

8. Governing law

German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you are a consumer, the mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence remain unaffected. The European Commission's ODR platform exists; we are neither obliged nor willing to participate in dispute resolution before a consumer arbitration board.

9. Changes

We may update these terms for future purchases; the version published at the time of your order applies to your order.
